A perfect item. Simple, straightforward, attractive, and no bells or whistles. Much safer than the stovetop version I'd been using for years... was always afraid I'd forget that was on the burner, but this one shuts off when you reach a boil. Love it.

My morning pour over is ever so good. This kettle surpassed my expectations. I've brought the kettle to a full boil without experiencing any of the burns and spills others had. I like the balance, the pour, and even the size. It fits my needs. Using a kettle is not rocket science, but reading the directions will help. I think this classic is worth checking out. Last, mine was made in Japan.

This is an adorable kettle. It works on all surfaces. It reminds me of a beehive and I love it. It holds 1.2L or about 3 cups of water for tea (in my case) and holds the temp very well. I have been able to drink a cup and it is still warm enough heat to do a second cup without a reheat within an hour. It is smaller than I expected, but that only adds to the cute factor. It is appx 4-5" round and 6-7" tall. Great quality and will last for years!

It is great little kettle. It is not too big and not too small. Gooseneck spout is perfect for precisely pouring hot water on manual pour-over coffee brewing system.
